#10 x 1 3/8 Simpson Strong-Tie CBSDQ Sheathing-to-CFS Screw (Collated) - 1500The CBSDQ Sheathing-to-CFS screw securely fastens various sheathing materials to cold-formed-steel (CFS). Its self-drilling point drives into materials easily and the flat head with nibs countersinks flush to surfaces. Collated for use with the Quik Drive® auto-feed screw driving system, the CBSDQ is the ideal solution to improve speed, efficiency and ergonomics of jobs requiring multiple fasteners driven in succession.
Key Features: Ribbed flat head with nibs for easy countersinking and smooth finish; #2 undersized square drive (driver bit included in each box; replacement bit: BIT2SU); #2 drill point with wings prevents jacking; Quik Guard coating; CBSDQ screws may be used as prescribed by the codes for shearwalls and diaphragms as described in AISI S240, S400 and S213. Applications: Sheathing to cold-formed steel; ideally suited for fastening sheathing to interior walls and floors, including trailer walls (recommended metal thickness: 11–18 gauge).
