The screw features a chisel point for reduced splitting, a smooth, unthreaded mid-shank to secure wood members tight, and a compact head for low visibility. Security Screws

I googled for security screws for an outdoor light. I had it set and someone climbed a ladder and turned the light straight down to the base of the pole. I readjusted the light and put in a phillips screw in place of the original thumb screw. It was turned down again. I found FMW Fasteners using my google search and found what I was looking for. It took me a few minutes to learn the sorting process. I ordered 3 lengths and one was perfect. I have installed the screw and no more light movement.
If I ever need special screws in the future I will search FMW Fasteners first.
