Can FMW handle large LTL shipments for us?

We sure can! Just FYI, shipments weighing in excess of 250 LBS and freight shipments to residential shipping addresses may require additional shipping and handling costs. In the event that additional shipping and handling is required, we'll contact you immediately to make arrangements.

Do you ship to Hawaii or Alaska?

FMW Fasteners DOES ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories and APO/FPO addresses. Due to the additional fees and in some cases challenges associated with shipping to these special destinations we may ask you to cover a portion of the shipping and handling costs. When shipping to these locations please keep in mind that delivery time will take longer and delivery to APO and FPO addresses may take an additional 7 to 14 days.

My package shows delivered but it's not here?

Unfortunately in the world of shipping there can be discrepancies in what the shipper's tracking information indicates and reality. Just know this...we will make sure you're taken care of in the event of a shipping issue. If your tracking information indicates that your package has been delivered but you can't find it, do the following: Verify the shipping address on your order Look for any type of notice of attempted delivery Check around the delivery location Look to see if someone else accepted the delivery Wait 36 hours. Packages will often show as "delivered" while still in transit, particularly in rural areas Contact Us

How can I request consideration for a charitable contribution from FMW Fasteners?

We support our community where the need is greatest and the impact is long term for our customers, community and employees. To apply for a contribution, you must represent an eligible 501(c)(3) organization based in the state of Texas.  To submit your request for consideration, please click on the following link:  FMW Fasteners Charitable Contribution Request

Why was my package undeliverable?

A shipping carrier may deem a package "undeliverable" for one of the following reasons: Incorrect Address - If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Address Format - If the address was entered in an incorrect format, it will be undeliverable. APO or FPO Addresses - If the address is entered as an international address or without the correct US APO/FPO zip code, it will be undeliverable.

Where will my items ship from?

90% of our orders ship direct from our warehouse in Houston, Texas. In situations where we can reduce shipping time to based on your proximity to one of our manufacturer's warehouses, we may choose to drop-ship items directly to you. We are QUITE good at optimizing the sourcing and logistics behind each and every order we handle. For our customers who do procurement for a living, this is a huge value-add in working with us. Place your order. We handle the rest.

What is your return policy?

Return your material unused and in the original packaging up to 90 days after the purchase date for a full refund on your material, no questions asked. We can even provide you with a prepaid shipping label!

I need a quote. How do I get a quotation?

No quotes here. There are many fastener suppliers out there that would be more than happy to put together a quote for you. That's just not us. Our goal is to offer you a huge selection of fastener products at competitive prices with free shipping. To that end, we don't respond to requests for quotations. Our website is always current with the products we sell, pricing and we provide a delivery date in your cart BEFORE you place your order.

Product Questions

Is the product image I'm viewing of the actual item itself?

All of our item images are accurate representative images of the product category, however, due to the limitless variations in thread patterns, finishes, and other variables that exist with fasteners, they are representative images only. Variations particularly in thread pattern are driven by the length of product. For specific details on any item, please refer to the SPECS tab on the product page.

How do I request MTRs for a product I have purchased?

FMW Fasteners can provide MTRs on all domestic bolting material as well as A325 and L9 structural bolting. To request certifications, just follow these steps: Click on this link. Provide us with your sales order number (SH****) and submit your request. We will review your original order and process your request! Please allow 48 hours for email delivery.

Are your products made in the United States?

We do offer domestic manufactured A325, Grade 5, Grade 8 and L9 bolting products. These products will specifically indicate "Domestic USA" in their product descriptions. Unless specifically indicated as being domestic, our inventory is made up of products manufactured internationally in ISO 9001:2008 certified facilities.

I'm looking for an item not listed on your site?

The products you see on our site represent our complete product offering. If there is a product type, size or variant you are shopping for that doesn't appear, unfortunately we don't have it available to sell.

How do I pair the correct washer with the bolt I've selected?

Most flat washers are shown with a single sizing option:  Diameter.  This indicates the nominal inner diameter of the washer AND the bolt diameter this washer is designed to work with. Select the same size washer diameter as the bolt diameter.  An exception would be Fender Washers. By design, these allow you to select from two size options (i.e. 1/4 x 3/4). The first indicates the nominal inner diameter. This is the bolt diameter it works with. The second indicates the outer diameter of the washer itself.
